Yes, this thread is really amazing. Is it easy to embroider with it?
How cute!!! Love the thread. I have a spool of same opalescence thread made by Coats and Clark. It makes lovely angel wings. Great job!!
Thank you all for your lovely comments. I don't get much time to post comments myself these days but i DO give roses to everyone. Hugs n love, Meg
Meg, this is a lovely designs and you are right - this thread is outstanding and is wondeful - did you buy it online? I would love a link for this. However - I have seen a few that sell Madeira thread before - not sure which one has the best deal. Stunning work. *4U
I buy mine from Allstitch as they don't charge and arm and a leg to send to Australia. If you do buy it to use, a word of advice, loosen top tension 1 to 2 points, slow down machine and use 90/14 Metallic needle.
The thread is wound around a core and tends to break but the machine will keep stitching with the core thread that hasn't broken. I did all of the above before it stopped breaking.

Shirlene, see my post. You probably can get the Coats and Clark brand at Joann's. Kay
Wow. I never realized that thread could change something nice into something stunning. Thanks for sharing

wow the thread is what is needed lovey just lovely!!!
This is what I was talking about on your project. It is truly a lovely thread, Supertwist 300, number is 983-300. I am going to make a set of snowflake napkin rings using this and some crystals, the ones that are AB (aurora Boreale). But I also liked the Platinum thread, photo's don't do it justice though.
