(or, what I refer to as "Klingon") instead of the design? I use my MAC to download, but my PC for machine communication...lol, if that makes any difference?! See, I told you about my computing skills! ROFL*

I have the answer for you!! When you download from some sites, like SICK, you have to hold down the Control key and scroll down to where it says Download the designed LInk! It will give you the design and not the gibberish! Hope that helps!

I have a pc that I use most of the time, and an older Mac that I use when I travel and when my pc is being used by someone else. When I try to download designs by sick on the Mac, I get your "Klingon" too. But only the designs by sick, no others. So I guess I don't know any more about computers than you!

Klingon, lol. I think its the BuyStitch freebies that I have the same problem with, in that I see a page of coding instead of the pes design I wanted to DL. Took me a while to figure out to use "save PAGE as" and it will save as a pes design. Weird coz every other site I have no problem with.

It may not be buystitch, but its the site where you can get 4 designs, perhaps they're updated weekly (??) I cant remember right now. I'm not complaining tho, simply pointing out that there is a work-around :) xXx

Oh cool! Thanks so much. I know I've encountered this at designs by sick, among others (and sometimes not ALL the designs from the same digitizer appear in Klingon - curiouser and curiouser.) I''ll give the "save as" a try. Thanks

um, for the Klingon pages, its save PAGE as .. not all links are designed to let you right click them and save as. (like the site that I cant remember who it is ??Buystitch?? lol) for that you have to click the link and then save page as.

That being said, save as is also a workaround for links that allow you to.

Now go get those freebies girls! lol :)
