My father was an electrical engineer and solar power was something he was getting excited about before he passed away. My son came home from school and said he was building an solar oven for a science project. I was more than excited to help with his experiment. We baked corn bread and a cake in his oven using the sun, glass, and aluminum tape. That solar road is a neat idea and would be even better if it charged our cars as we drove down the road.
Solar power is becoming pretty popular here in Australia. I hope it becomes popular everywhere!
I'll show this to my DH!! He is so into solar. We even have solar panels on our roof. Our electric company buys back whatever we can produce. Our sons helped him install the panels last summer. We are all pretty proud of them! (hehehe, both the solar panels and our sons!!!)
That is wonderful and a great value - wouldn't it be nice to have a system that would generate so much power? And of coarse you are proud of your solar panels, but especailly your sons.
Interesting, so thanks & it is making me think
Love this Idea. Why isn't being done already? We could be independent of those fossel fuels too. Suzanne
Suzanne, who know why - let's just hope it comes to life, so we can be independent. *4U
What a great idea - far too much fuel being used to destroy our planet for future generations.
This was on our news a couple of days ago. Sounds great to me. Anything to get us off OIL and GAS
So it was on the news - that is great - I do hope they do something with it.
