Have been home for two days now. I have snow and ice. Hope to get to work Wed. or maybe not like to stay home and be on cute!! DeVon
Thank you for thinking of us.We to off you and your snow.keep warm and safe
yes we are warm and cozy waiting for the storm to start tonight. Suzanne
And people wonder why I HATE winter. Sorry the weather is so screwy this winter seems to be messing with everyone this year. Snow is much better than the flooding in AU though, sure hate to see what they're having to deal with.
sdrise, you are just getting our leftovers....here in TN we got 3" all the way up to 10.5" in the middle section of the state. This is NOT the norm for here and we are to get more today and tomorrow and another one hits us on Friday and Sat. We are not use to this. We can't get over one before another arrives....we have 4" still and it actually melted some yesterday. Suppose to be 14F. tomorrow night. It was 11 F. Sunday morning....so this is not a typical winter for any of us as we also had a White Christmas...
Just get prepared and be safe and stay warm.
Suzanne, we live in Michigan and I know your pain!!! But, at the moment, my DH and I will be moving into an apartment in Pennsylvania for part of the year while he works on a project there. Our move is due right during that storm!!! Good luck to you!* Laura
Oh poor you I feel for you too! Hope all goes well! Good luck to you too my dear! Suzanne
We use to have winters like you get now but now they seem to stay south of us here.
I sure don't know how you do it Suzanne. We had snow Sunday here in Dallas/Fort Worth (I'm actually in Denton where it's still on the ground), and I must say, this SoCal native is feeling a bit like cabin fever setting in! I'm not used to these 20-30 degree days! lol. I am itching to put on shorts, flip flops and go outside. If it weren't for the economy and the politics (and my husband), I'd be back in San Diego by the weekend! :-) Have a blessed day! teri
My grandaughter lives near you in Argyle. Bet she will be glad when warms up also.
Teri,
I have to agree with your sentiments! Living in Mississippi and Georgia all my life, I can not stand for the temperatures to drop below 50! LOL The recent northern blizzard sent ice and a bit of snow our way, so I've been homebound the past couple of days. Today, folks are out and about getting back to work, etc. Now, I hear from the news another blizzard is in the works, so I see no relief in sight! Guess I'll put my shorts and flipflops back into the closet!
Angel
We had 17 degrees the other night . Too cold and with the wind it feels like 0. I hope spring comes fast! Suzanne
Okay, I turned up the thermostat and put my shorts and flip flops on anyway! :-)
