What wonderful news! Glad you are safe and I will continue to pray for those that aren't as lucky as you. *
I am so very happy for all of you!!!!!! God keeps you all in His arms!!!!!
Oh I watched on you tube the awful flooding you have been getting . Thank God the evacuation has been cancelled . Oh i pray for your safety and quick recovery from the devistation.
I am happy to hear you did not have to evacuate. I hope the sun keeps shining and the rivers start to go down. I am glad to hear that you are okay. Hugs, Mary
So glad the worst is over! Now comes the recovery. I hope its quick. Doesn't sound like it though according to the news I've seen. So mI hope it starts speeding up!
Glad to hear that you are getting some relief. Will continue to pray for you. You certainly could use some sunshine. =0)
The shop owner gave my daughter the last bottle of milk this afternoon, he actually had to go to his car to retrieve it. How generous of him. The milk factories may not get milk for a month or so as the cows stop producing milk in such wet extreme water situations we were told. The trucks loaded with milk are held up at blocked roads could be 2 more days before they get through from Toowoomba. The Blackbutt range has had massive landslides and could be cut for up to 6 weeks. The only thing I would not like to run out of is fresh water. Had been thinking of you Sally. Love Kerry
I am so sorry that you are going through such a nightmare. I pray you and yours lack nothing. I have been watching the videos and they hard to watch. Too much devastation!
Phew! I was looking at a news report earlier that showed some horses worn out from swimming resting their chins on people's roof for a rest. Poor things. People were going around in boats trying to help them get to dry ground but they were just too tired. Very sad.
Yes! I cannot watch to much of the floods as I just keep seeing how lucky I have been...and burst into tears...Hugs
I just saw this... I am so glad the Lord spared you. I too feel for all of those that are going through this nightmare.
Glad to hear that Sally. Cannot get petrol, bread milk etc in Toowoomba .Super market shelves are dare. I will try again tomorrow. I am keeping a eye on the elderly people next door a.athey are needing some fruit.
Keep safe Sandra -Toowoomba
I am in Kallangur the other side of Anzac Ave from Murrumba Downs and have a supermkt at end of street, the same no bread, milk or fruit. As rocklea market is under water now...I will need to make some soon unfortunately I gave my breadmaker away.... Hope you can get somethings tomorrow. Hugs
My car has a tank full and just a little car does not use to much, not sure if we are running short!
A breadmaker and some flour would be very handy right now, along with a supply of long life milk, I'd imagine.
Long life milk would be great...no vegs available so I guess if you have power frozen vegs will have to do or those surprise peas or tinned...
I am thankful you do have power. Maybe other countries will start sending some aid, I hope we do.
go to wide bay fb page
there have recipe for bread and survial stuff
have you seen the bridges in petrie
north lakes has bread and milk
most stores have sold out of long life
flour ,bleach ,toilet paper are selling out
Great news, so very relieved and happy for you.
Hugs n roses, Meganne
I guess someone was looking out for me! Thank for your offers...same from me if ever needed.. Looks as if you do not need to worry about the 1 in 100 flood... Well hopefully not. Hugs
Wonderful Sally - I am so glad you are o.k. I feel for all the other people up there in Brisbane and outer country towns that have been deluged. Love Chris
I am lucky, and so feel for everyone who is going under...thoughts are with them.
Hallelujah Praise the Lord....he listened and he answered.....glad you are ok but let us keep praying for those that are suffering....
