119791I posted in community than I think I have that pattern in my Mother-in-laws old pattern books. It can be a sweater or a vest (sleeveless). It is done on 4 1/2 mm needles then change to 19mm needles for the body of the sweater.

Well that was when she was 14, she is now 40 and I would love to redo the sweater for both her and my Granddaughter who is now 14.

As I said I don't knit that well but do love to crochet. Have to say that embroidery has taken over all the other crafts I have done over the years.

Thank you She was 14 then. I will take her recent picture to work on Monday and scan it. She is 40 now.

Yes it was, in fact if memory serves me right it really was just a square and when finished just sewn up to the armhole. More like a cap sleeve. Not being a knitter, I couldn't begin to just make a pattern up. I think I could do the waistband, then the body, just don't know how to do the neckline.
