I took the challenge, Cuties! And here is my first run with the sunflower design, a travel mug. I used a piece of vintage "sunflower yellow" velvet for the flower...and for the center, some wool felt. I digitized the cup insert and used the zig-zag border around the edge to frame the sunflower. The travel mugs were purchased at Dollar General, prior to Christmas this past year...I paid $2.00 each, and cleaned out 3 stores! I have three cases of mugs in my stash and had been looking for a design that might work well with them...I think this might do! This cup might be mine to use this summer at my farmers market...seems appropriate, anyhow!

I really like the design on the mug and you were wise to buy all you could find as they will make wonderful gifts or easy resells in a flea market. Flowers (sunflowers) for you.
