Does anyone have a Husqvarna Designer 1 machine and use prewound bobbins? If yes what type do you use please? My machine doesn't seem to wind up bobbins well and yours?

Yes most dealers do sell prewound. I had a Designer 1. I bought some on line. You need size L. I use plastic sides but if you read back further you'll find other people use various types.

clawton, your bouquet is growing - you have 997 and need 3 more for 1000. A*4U

I bought my Husqvarna Designer 1 at a Viking Dealer inside Joann's Crafts store; I did wind my own bobbins and they work ok for straight sewing but for embroidery I buy the prewound bobbins that the dealer has in the store. They work so much better.

anna, Sorry to hear your machine doesn't wind your bobbins well but I use prewound bobbins they are so much easier and cheaper. When you go to the web site they will tell you which ones to get for your machine. A flower for all .

I have a Husqvarna Designer 1 Machine and use either the nebs prewound plastic bobbins, or the Robison-Anton prewound plastic bobbins. They both work very well for me. Hope this helps. My machine does a terrible job winding the bobbins so that is the reason I buy the prewounds.
