:} Hi Alice ..... I haven't seen any news of Australia for three days now - is Brisbane still afloat. Is that why you are working so hard at your craft - because you can't go outside?
Are you feeling any better/happier recently. I do hope you are moving ahead of the 'blues' and creating some wonderful designs. Nothing like a bit of beauty to awaken the soul. Sending lots of love....

Oh My Goodness!!! We managed to find a 7.30 Report on TV!!! Great planes of water, kilometres and kilometres of muddy, moving torrents are sweeping through the countryside.
The floods are moving south and Horsham in Victoria is now in trouble. That's just north of our stamping ground and it's been in severe drought for ten years!!! Now there are 'severe water restrictions' because clean drinking water is in very short supply and being trucked in. It's not a happy scene, right down the eastern coast and inland down through the Mallee. But, to the Aussies' credit, the indomitable Australian spirit shines through with every report.
You've some of that spirit, Alice, so keep on working on the craft you love.

Thanks Alma, I am definitely improving.Queensland's waters have receded and the big job of clean up has started. We went to Ipswich on Saturday to help out and it was devastating. Where I live on the Bay was not affected at all so we were fine. We have had a few sunny days recently and it was 38degrees here yesterday.
