Beautiful! The variegated thread has a great look.
Flower for it!
Where did you get the pattern I love it I am hooked on fsl right now and am searching for more bookmarks to do. It looks great with the multicoloured thread. I will give it a try. What kind of stabalizer do you use. I use H2o gone and works great.* for you quiltgrama
Hi, i purchased this set from Embroidery Library, they have some lovely designs but they are very dense. I used two layers of the 'fabric' type water soluble, purchased from- http://abc-embroidery-designs.com...
cheers & a rose, Meganne
Very pretty - I like varigated threads, but usually they come out withe the appearance of stipes. This did very nicely.
the variegated thread gave it such and interesting appearance. I had thought about trying that but never got around to it. Now I know it works well.
Lovely bookmark. And you used variegated ribbons as well, that adds a little extra. I never got into using variegated threads, I have to try this out.
Meganne, I have never seen a variegated thread used on a bookmark, what a great technique. Thank you, a flower for your work. This design looks like an Emblibrary, is it?
Yes, very nice technique. I am sure that it will look wonderful with the purple tones. I have this, bookmark, too! A*4U
Yes Loretta it came from Emblibrary, i went mad with the 50% off voucher i got when i joined. And i really wanted to do FSL so i bought lots of those design sets. :-) Roses for all. cheers, Meganne
Meganne, thank you for your help. I want to do some of this FSL but haven't had the nerve to try it, yet. My daughter loves it and works on it almost every day. HaHa
