They seem to be a good thing to be collecting because my bouquet surely does smell good and look pretty. As for how you get them, you get one each day (once every 24 hour period) that you visit the site. We can get them from others in this area of the site,(when you ask a question) and also in response to answers and Cudo's for projects. We click on them to show (ourselves)that we have read a comment, or we click on them to show that we like what you said, or you and your idea. Whatever reason. It's really just sort of a fun thing we have and do. I'm leaving you with another, now.;)
You will love this site. Hard to get off after you get on. I find something new here everyday. Welcome to the family. DeVon

Look to the left of the page you are on right now and click on "tutorial". There are lots of posts with great information. If you're still stuck post a question here in the general section just like you did.
Flowers are for fun and also to mark posts you have read. You cannot give yourself a flower. Flowers in the project section are a different color but still the same idea. They change colors when you have given a flower.
Thank you, I will check the tutorials. There is just so much information and I am getting lost.
