I would like a color like sage green. My room here has a small couch and a TV on a large antique dresser and it was the boys bedroom so I haven't gotten around to painting it yet and the wall needs work before that can be done.

I cannot lways change the color of the walls so what makes me happy is to have a few special pictures and trinkets around me. My husband makes me what he calls "an I love me wall" with a 1/2 dozen pictures. My niece has given me several small trinkets that hang so they are on my shelving unit. I am surounded by things that mean a lot to me in a room that means a lot to me.

My sewing room is done in yellow. That's a happy color for me, soft yellow. It looks bright even on cloudy days. So, just pick your "happy" color and go with it. Carol

It all depends whether you like warm colours or cool colours; pastels or vibrants.

I like all colours, but for my well being, what makes me feel happier are warms colours in softer shades.

So I like my home internal walls to be painted in very soft peach or cream or beige or even certain shades of yellow. I don't like blue or grey or pink or any bright colours. Grey especially makes me feel very depressed.

If you are unsure of what colour you like best, you should get yourself some large sheets of cardboard, paint each sheet a different colour and pin the sheets to your wall so you can see how you 'feel' living with each colour. Not even so much whether you like a colour, but how it makes you feel when you are with it.

Do you understand what I mean?

I hope this helps because I really think colour is a very personal thing and no-one can tell you what to choose.
Hugs and roses, Meganne
