The craft and sewing events are always a great way to learn new techniques and products. Did you find any new amazing products and tips that would help us?
Oh, How I wish I were nothing I like more than rambling around quilt shows trying to see everything that is new, useful and of course to be in awe of the beautiful quilts on display. Guess you'll just have to enjoy it enough for all of us. Be sure to wear comforable shoes...lol. Have a blessed day. Karen
Sandy and I had a ball at the show yesterday and we came home with some new machine feet to do some extraordinary things on the machine. I also purchased an applique wallhanging after having a great time in the mini-class learning the new technique.
I also bought some beautiful polished pendant gemstones for the girls in the family back home.
We'd have gone back today if the show had been on still but we have that pleasure to look forward to in the future.
The show wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be but having it spread between three buildings was a good idea.

Alma, I so wished that I would be in the Pheonex Quilt show today - to see you and Sandy. Have fun!
Hope you enjoyed the show. Went on Thursday and it was just packed - so many people. My claustrophic friend and I had fun anyway!
Well, we're heading off now but if anyone does get to the show, we'll be the Aussies having fun.
I'll be the little white-haired lady in a navy sports jacket (white piping) and Sandy will be the bigger one, rather gorgeous-looking, who will be making sure her mother doesn't misbehave too badly or get lost.... :}
Please, if you do see us, make yourself known and just ask us, "Are you a Cutie?????" - it's the password for today!!!

I WISH I could meet you there. Colorado is a bit too far of a drive. If that scissor stand is there, be sure to pick up a new pair of those snippers - they are great! You might want to go empty out your penny bank before you go...... Have fun with Sandy! I wish I could spend the day with my daughter.... She's 1100 miles away. Jan
I know what distance feels like.
I'm visiting from South Australia, about 8250 miles or 13,000+ kilometres away.
We see each other once every two years and make a lot of hay while that sun is shining!!!
We'll surely be having a lot of fun today. I haven't spent much money here this time and I have a nice little nest egg to crack open today.... :}
