I first saw this about two weeks ago - I was truly amazed at her personality and drive - she would be someone that I would love to sit with and learn from - not only quilting - but dealing with life. Thanks so much for sharing this here. *4U
An absolutely inspiring lady! Thanks for sharing this video! It is so great to see someone forge ahead with such zest, inspite of the difficulties she has to deal with each day. My husband has serious glaucoma with his vision holding on by a
thread. He doesn't say much, but I can tell he is trying to invision how he will cope if ever he cannot see. I try to reassure him that he will adapt and be fine. This terrific lady
certainly has adapted well!

My husband, too, has glaucoma. They discovered it when he was very young - about 23, and before we had children. So far, he is doing well, he has had a few surgeries, and laser surgery done. It is the medicines that are expensive, and had adverse reactions at times. I never thought that he would be able to overcome the odds since he was diagnosed so young.
My husband's glaucoma was discovered at age 50, he is now 66. It was somewhat advanced when diagnosed, but he takes his meds/drops as required several times a day without fail. He is still working each day, and I think that helps to keep him from dwelling on the issue. His doctor said so many go blind not taking the drops as directed; being too nonchalant about the seriousness of glaucoma.
She is a real person. She may be challenged but she is not handicapped. I think she embodies all of what we do as embroiderers. She uses what she has to make the world a better place. She is an inspiration and 1 of our sisters.
She is truly amazing - how inspirational to be able to do all those wonderful quilts, sight unseen. Love and blessings Chris
I could not belive that she was sewing with a machine without eye site - I have stitched my fingers being able to see - can not but wonder how she does this.
