1. similar
2. another similar in March 2010 MOC
Thanks sewmom.
I did manage to work with the image I had. I did show the customer some similar that I was able to do but she wanted something symetrical.
Alice.
It has a similarity to a design in the Brother Galaxie 2000 but unless the cushion and chair are from a dolls house your design is much larger. It will look very good when you make it up. Have fun
ha ha, the cushion is for real people. I have got it digitized and it look pretty good. well not quite perfect but I find that I am way more critical and fussy about things than any customer is.
You are aware that designs on fabric are copyrighted?
You may need permission from the designer to be able to turn this into an embroidery design.
it's not the same but this is a free sample that looks abit like it:
Thanks, Gerry that is a nice one. but I have digitize the design for my customer and she is happy with it. I will post the photo of the stitch out.
so here it is, I will have to touch it up tomorrow but I think it will work.
Sorry I couldn't locate the design at Sick.
Do you have a scanner? Why don't you scan the design? Surely you can correct any visual errors when you digitise it.
Could you work from this?
All I have is the photo of the cushion. It doesn't look to bad but when I put it in the software is is really quite distorted. I might just have to try to work with the image somehow.
Use a line tool to trace a quarter of the design, the enlarge, duplicate and mirror to get the whole of it. Use that as your pattern - done that a number of times, works for me.
Previously, was this pattern in my Brother embroidery machine.
But I believe him to have seen anywhere else.
I've just looked at Brother.
But unfortunately not found.
Hopefully you'll find him.
I will also have a look.

Here is a link to a free font site with curly and swirly dingbat fonts, one is Nymphette, one is called Swinging, sometimes such are called victorian borders or calligraphic corner. Just look around.
With a font engine you might be able to transform it to embroidery.
Or, as you mentioned, use it as a clipart and go a detour with better results.
OOps, I forgot, you are a professional digitizer!
So you know about these copyright things. ;-))
But some are free for commercial use too.
When you click the Fonts name the complete list of letters and conditions of the designer will show.
Greetings
That is a good idea, I will have a look at my fonts, I have over 9000 of them. thanks you that is a good idea.
Alice.
isn't that available at Sick?
I am sure I have seen it there, will have a quick look for you.
