Mary, as Ruthie said - it can be done - if you have a photo stitch application on your embroidery software - not all jpg's can be worth the trouble - however. Someone with more knowledge than I have could give you more info. What are you trying to do - at this time with your jpg file? *4U

The best way to put a photo of your granny into a quilt would be to print it out on fabric. If you have a digitizer and are very good at manual digitizing you could probably do it, but your best bet is to print it out. When you have sewn the blocks together you could embelish them with heirloom embroidery on your machine.

Mary, jpg is a graphic, pes is a machine embroidery format, which means we're talking digitising here. Not my area, but I can tell you it can be done. Hang in there and someone will be along to give you more info than what I can. Have a fun day, flowers and hugs.
