I am in cold Ohio also Akron Canton area. Lots of ice but not a lot of snow. Maybe 3 inches. We are staying in today. I have my emb machine running. Hope you feel better soon.
YEPPERS...Right here with ya in Ohio...Ice is half inch thick on my steps from my back door..roads are clear enough to travel for now but snow is coming...
Our road hasn't been plowed since we are a side street and it has been snowing for a little while. Where abouts are you? I am in Canton.
Oh sweetie, what are you doing? Maybe you can watch some nice films on the internet?Hope you got it warm and there is enough food and legal drugs :o)
Greetings, Bettina
We are warm, have Ibuprofin for now and plenty of food. Son is here for one more day this week so he and hubby are watching outter space DVDs. I see the doctor on Friday. Didn't want prescription pain pills at urgent care on Monday but would like them now, lol! How are you Bettina? What are you making now that the holidays are over?
I was lying with the flu for some time; maybe a reaction to the stress until the holidays? Was driving my last lamps to customers at 24th afternoon! This year I close my shop earlier (no new orders after the 15th!).
Today I tried a new design for the first time since summer (the sweet monster from Lee; one version fits in the 4x4! ;o) and put a pic in the projects. Had bought so many new designs during fall and such a long to-do-list *hehehe*
Greetings and get well soon
Bettina
PS: Do you like space-films or didn't they grant you the right to choose another one? I'm a star-Trek-fan so may I come and join your "little cinema-club"? :o)
Well - you take it easy. Messed up ribs can really be a problem. And glad to catch the news that the groudhog did not see his shadow. LOL We have had enough cold weather in Florida, as the rest of you too. I don't think that I have any plants that did not freeze. We just have to wait to see if they will come back, and then start over.
Yeah, this weather has been crazy this year with the cold and snow hitting so much of the South too. That stipid groundhog is only right about 36% of the time, they should change it to if he sees his shadow we get early Spring, then he would be right 64% of the time. Ribs take forever to heal, they don't bandage anymore cause it can bring on pneumonia.
Debra, you poor thing - if it isn't one thing - it is another.
Yeah, but I am a survior even though I have been yelping like a puppy when I move. Getting out of the chair hurts more than sitting.
Stay warm, hope your son gets well soon, God bless you and keep you safe.
Son is fine, I am the one with bad ribs. He needs a new job closer to where he moved because they dropped him to 20 hours a week, can't live on that. He'll be here 2 nights a week till he finds a job 60 miles North.
