I just had a feeling this was going to happen!! Way to go!

P.S. Shirlene's Turn next!
What a good idea. My step grand daughter(grown with 2 children) went in a thrift store with her Mom and came out with a wonderful Coco Channel purse that looked brand new and paid $12.00 for it. It was not stiff feeling like a brand new purse but other than that you could not tell it had been used. I told them that I wanted to go and check out this place when they went the next time. My personal favorite in bags are Aigner, Rolfs, and Stone Mountain. They are not the most expensive but the leather is to die for on the St Mt and the Rolfs and the style of the Aigner has to be my favorite. I sure would love to find a thrift store one of these that looked like the one my GD came home with.
I am proud of all of our Cuties that keep on being published at E.L.
congratulations Bev.....I do this too.....
maybe I need to send in some of the things I do for everyday....
Oh my!! as if I didn't have enough project ideas swirling in my head you have just added another. Great idea. Becky
You are so smart! I love thrift stores and now I will be looking at those purses with new eyes!!
Thank you !
Great tip! I will ask my daughter for her bags that she doesnt like/use anymore. The buckles, linings and zips can also be recycled.
Gongratulations!
Hugs Bev
I often 'scavenge' parts from bags, belts, shoes etc myself. Sometimes I even buy things from thrift shops just to wreck them and make something new out of the parts. Parts are so expensive when bought new, and it's good recycling.
CONGRATULATIONS Bev, have fun spending your voucher - we need to see some of your projects from all the wonderful designs you are getting. WAY TO GO!
As soon as i get my new machine I'll whip some right up. Adverse weather is holding it up they are telling me. But i have a sewing project planned for today.
