In Arizona we had a hard freeze last night which is very unusual for us!
Dawn
I heard it would be an early spring - but with the weather the way it is - how can that be?
Punxsutawney Phil is only right about 36% of the time so I don't trust him!
I know what you mean - I am so ready for some nice orange blossoms and azaleas to start showing their colors. If they all haven't been frozen back.
Here in middle Georgia, the sun is shining, but going to get colder tonight after having mild temps the past couple of days! My husband called this morning, said the groundhog did see his shadow and forecast an early Spring! LOL (I am SO ready for Springtime weather!)
Angel
Sorry! I intended to say that Georgia's famed groundhog, Gen. Beauregard Lee, did NOT see his shadow! So come on Spring!!
In Wiarton, Ont., Canada's most well-known prognosticating rodent, Wiarton Willie, failed to see his shadow, therefore predicting an early spring, as a dangerous winter storm howled outside.
Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam and Pennsylvania's Punxsutawney Phil also both predicted an early spring.
YEA!!!!!!
Maybe 4 out of 4 we can believe????? That would include the Ga one too. LOL
No shadow, but with the ice storm we're having in PA, he could have seen his REFLECTION in all the ice! hee hee hee Com'mon Spring!
My son said he saw his reflection too, we are coated with ice but it is melting however it is also snowing again.
The news this morning said he didn't see his shadow. Sun is shining here in MN. today
Does he see his shadow? Don't want 6 more weeks of winter.
