breaking down. The ground and houses and vehicles are now coated in ice. Several roofs have caved in from the weight of the snow and ice. Now they are worried about power outages with very low temps predicted for the night and continuing for several days. And more snow is on the way in just a couple of days.

Karen, I have been praying all day - hoping that everyone is fine all around the world - I hope that many check in soon - so we know that they are ok. I have called these sort of ice storms - ice ooz before - because that is what it is like - just a thick ooz of ice - so hard and unbreakable that it is just best to leave it alone - rather then try to break it lose. I feel for all those that have so much snow and ice - that it is causing power outages and harm to people. Then we have the other side of the world to worry about as well. I am very thankful - that we are not getting that sort of weather here - it is cold - but we are not getting the sort of storms that the rest of the country is getting. I will be praying for all. *4U

I agree, my parents and some sil are without power and there is ice everywhere and trees down in my neighbor's yard thankfully didn't hit anything. No cable TV for us, watching DVDs all day. Schools are already closing for tomorrow and that is rare! Suppose to warm up tomorrow!

This has been quite the winter season. Just praying that everyone will continue to keep safe. This is so scriptural, and there is more to come. I just pray for these families that are affected by this. Hugs, Terre
