He hated our water bed, so he took the dual mattress off when he moved it and replaced it with the other king sized pillow top from the other room...He put the box springs under it ..Now, you see I am just under 5"4" and that bed now sits past my waist...what a comical sight it was to see me trying to get up on the bed...so now my DH has to make steps to get up for me Hehehehe...serves him right

I can't keep up with that man...He changes things up daily..rearranges our plans on a dime...never know what I come home to every night....I told him that i could just move my sewing room into the old bedroom..He promptly shot that down and explained we needed it for the Granddaughter to play in....

I thought when the kids grew up you got to enjoy your home again...I am still stuck in the converted garage at the other end of the house....

I guess I am going to have to have my DH build me a cabin out back where I can lock the door-put up no entry signs on it..AND THAT INCLUDES HIM...hehehe

I think I need to send him back to his ex wifes house so he can rearrange hers instead...That means I will have to disconnect the phone so she won't call me and tell me to come and get him back.....I could just hear her now "I thought you were my friend"...
Does anyone need someone to come over and work on their house...I will loan you my DH just long enough where I can get things back the way I planned it.

I promise to take him back once everything is back the way I designed it.

That is exactly what I DID! We built a separate building for our hobbies, I have a sewing studio with a full bathroom and kitchenette and he has his hunting and fishing supply room there. It is wonderful...I can go there and spend the entire day and come back to my house leaving my sewing mess behind me. I love it, wish I had done it years ago.

Be careful...someone may just take you up on your offer...lol. Could use him at my house for a little while but then he'd start to drive me crazy if he was changing everything .....oh well guess we have to have something to fuss about...your hubby for doing to much and mine for not doing enough...lol Hugs, Karen

Deanna, so your new sewing room is not your bedroom and your bedroom is the new sewing room? I would love to see pictures. It would be funny - if you actually took any of the CUTE family up on your dear husband helping them - I would love to have my room made into something that would be more effecient - but we only have a couch for him to sleep on - when he wasn't working. I bet he could get it done in a matter of days and be on the road - back to you - in a place that you have arranged to your liking - I think the steps to your bed sound so clever, too. Hehehe!

How funny this sounds. I am 5' even and I can feel your pain trying to get into bed. At least he gets things done. My DH always wants to please me, so I have a great sewing room. If you loan him out you may regret it. LOL. Hugs, Judy

Seems like he enjoys staying busy! I have my sewing room to my liking, but if he does house "cleaning", PLEASE send him MY way!! Then, I will have more time for the important things, such
as embroidering!! LOL

After seeing your sewing room in the making, he can come an sort mine out anytime...I live in Australia so he could be here a while, that should give you some time alone to sort out your rooms...hehehehe Hugs Sally
