I was often wondering about it cause it is something that I miss on all of Miss Veronikas pages; not only for the freebies at DBC (I also think it is very generous to give us the space for that so no need to do more "service" there) but it's the same at amazing or at adorable applique and that are sales-areas!
Once I had a membership at amazing but I don't wanna pay for playing "hide-and-seek" through all the pages. At adorable applique there are letters at the left site but only up to the C; what should I do if I search for a dog?
So I will help jkdavies1996 completing her posts with linklists. DBC has more than 300pages at the moment and with every comment made for a design the whole designs are moving so you never know where a design is right now. I like just to watch in DBC and often find suprisingly "new designs" (to me ;o) I never noticed before. But for a newbie starting with machine emboidery a searchtab is a great help (and also for us "old stagers" too when you need a design for a special project and you are in a hurry like me with my last-minute-gifts).
Greetings, Bettina
Dear high tech, there is a search function. Its the google custom search bar on the right aspect of the page!!!!
I think you mean a search for specific designs in DBC?, which would probably not really be in the best interests of our most generous Veronika, who already gives us lots of free designs and this forum that we all so enjoy. Fair enough too, to make us work a little to find free designs, really :) We often find other things we fancy as we look through all of those pages anyway, don't we? I think it's a little like how people often have a grumble about 'Yahoo!'. Another 'free service', but there are lots of things we might like better on it, if only we could have anything we wished for :) We do okay, really, I think, and are thankful for what we are given.
Thanks Chris, it's a bookmark -for which one needs a really really big book! LOL
I've emailed before but did not receive an answer. I would love a way to search more easily. The tags on the design pages don't show all of the letters of the alphabet either so you can't search all the tags. I have also emailed about that with no response. We can just keep hoping.
Down the bottom of this page is Contact Us. Write them a letter and ask.
There is a search function on this site...under where the ask the community you can type what you are looking for and it will bring up all the answers to topics already discussed on this website...is that what you are meaning? Hugs Sally
