She made Beef Bernaise (sp) that had mushrooma and carrots in this incredible sauce, with homemade noodles! and homemade bread and this dessert she made with layers of pecans and caramel and fruit and whipped cream! Oh my, and of course she made too much and so we had wonderful leftovers today. It was just toooooo wonderful! I wish I could share some with you. I think I'll go toast a piece of the bread and melt some butter on top....... yum

What day is YOUR birthday? We are almost twins!! I had two cakes - one was coconut and the other was Italian Creme. All that and I'm diabetic. I had to give myself extra insolin, but it was worth an extra shot. My retired teacher friends had a brunch from me today. It was so great to be with old friends, but it is sew good to meet new friends, too!

Hi Bev, I did get to stay cozy warm inside and we had another 6 inches of snow. We can barely see out our downstairs windows. It was great day, thanks for your birthday wishes! jan

Linda, I love the gifts from the heart. When I think about how hard it is to put together a whole meal for someone else, it just overwhelms me that someone would do that for me! When our son had a broken back last summer, she brought over about 4 meals and it helped us tremendously because it was all we could do to take care of him. thanks for the birthday wishes! Jan
