15907One of the great things about living in this beautiful country with its 'droughts and flooding rains' is that if you belong to a community such as this one you get to have two birthdays!!!! I tell people that about the only time we beat America is when it comes to time. I had my birthday yesterday on Feb 5 in Australia, and I'm having it again today, on Feb 5 in America.
It's around 5 a.m. here right now and, of course, my body clock is upside down again so I thought I'd check up to make sure I didn't miss any flowers for my well-wishers and I have found all the new messages.
Thank you, Thank you, to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes. You have all made my 75th a great occasion.
I still have to see my little grandsons down the hill since we were too tired last night for visiting and I'm sure they will enjoy sharing a birthday cake with me.
What a great way to end our three months holiday in Arizona with our daughter and her family - to have a special birthday the day of our return home and to read all your good wishes.

Thank you to every Cutie Person who has sent me birthday wishes.
I have only been home for about half an hour and, of course, switched on my computer.
It's been a very long and tiring trip this time back home from America. The actual trip took about 28.5 hours from leaving Sandy's place in Scottsdale, AZ, to the Melbourne Airport and without any real sleep we were two very weary travellers. Our third daughter, Robinne, and her husband were there to meet us yesterday and then we travelled back home - another six hour drive - today in convoy..... they were concerned that I might have forgotten how to drive on the left side of the road while I was away!!! It was lovely to have them concerned about our safely and here we are home safe and sound with some wonderful memories of Arizona to keep us going for another couple of years.
Robinne remembered my birthday but no-one else has twigged yet that it's the big 75 today. No matter....I'm happy and very blessed and privileged to have had three magnificent months of fun, sewing and crafting with No. 2 Daughter, Sandy, in Arizona.
And now.... so many Cutie Friends have taken the time to wish me well and I am feeling on top of the world right now. Thank you, again, dear and caring friends, for thinking of me. A special thank you to raels011 for the time you take to make people feel so special.
