Here in central Virginia (Richmond area) we're a 2 hour drive to Washington (DC), 2 hrs. to Williamsburg (historic area and Busch Gardens amusement park), 2 hours to the Blue Ridge parkway (smaller Rocky Mountain range), 2 hrs. to the beach. nhsmith55 and I could meet you and I'd love to host you. Any other lurking cuties in the area, could reply here and we could all meet up, together.
(The fall season in Virginia, is lovely.)
Hugs,
Jacqueline
Well - there is always Florida - I am not far from Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Daytona Beach, and the Space Center - of course, by that time the shuttle will no longer be flyng. Many things to see and do - but It could still be warm during those months. Please keep us posted on when you will be in the different areas. Wouldn't it be great to visit so many cuties?
Raelene, Budget Inns and Motel 6 are nice motels on the less expensive side but even cheaper would be staying with cuties and there are more than enough of us with guest rooms to make your stay even more afforable. I am in a suburb of Dallas and I know of at least one other cutie nearby and a couple of others not too far away. Just let is know more details and I am sure we can help be your travel agents. I am planning a trip to England the end of March/first of April. Any Cuties in Mildenhall, Suffolk?
Just don't visit Texas in July or August. Very Hot!
I am in PA and the fall of the year would be very colorful here with all the leaves turning. I have a guest room and you would be more than welcome. Hugs, Mary
Raels you are more than welcome to stay at my house. I am about 2 hours drive away from San Francisco. My guest room is always ready for any cutie
Now that camylow brought it up, I just had to share a Redwood Forest tree picture.
You could come to Oregon...Our beautiful coastal shores are breathtaking...after the coast you could go to Silverton and visit the Silver Creek Falls...its a 7 mile hike with 14 outstanding falls...You could then visit are Redwood forest where the trees are the biggest you can inagine....Take a trip to Crater Lake and look into the beautiful clear deep waters....Go play in the snow on our wonderful Mt. Hood....Drive down our Molalla River corridor and see nature at its best and our great hills and mountains...Hit the Oregon Gardens and see all the flowers and plants...Visit our Zoo in Portland...Drive along the Columbia Gorge and follow the river...take a ride on Mt. Hood Train...they have theme rides...When you are done with our state you can drop down and visit Sewmom in California...you would be better to go in late september...the fall and rain starts coming in around October and the weather starts to drop...
You have to see the Redwood Forest coming to California from Oregon. The trees are huge and beautiful!
I was thinking to go in September or October and have no definate plans and I would like to catch up with as many cuties as possible. What I thought would give myself a month and play it by ear
California can be very warm or hot then. Good time for beaches, San Francisco, Napa valley, or just hanging out by the pool.
As everyone has said - which part of the USA are you planning on visiting? So vast and big - you could go from cheap to cheap or from CUTE to CUTE. Hehehe! Seriously - where do you plan to come into and leave from?
What part to you plan to visit? I also live in the south (Alabama).
USA is big. Which area will you be visiting? I'm in Northern California. A little east of San Francisco.
Good idea, Lillian, Raelene can go from cutie home to next Cutie home. Raelene, you would probably have to rent a car or we could meet half way with the next cutie. ha! ha! Seriously, what are your plans? Lillian and I are both in the South, but several hundred miles apart although she does have family 30 minutes from me. Kay
MY house Raels, but alas I do not live anywhere near any exciting places. Where are you planning on being or what do you plan on seeing while you are here?/Lillian
We could take her to the Yellow Daisy Festival , usually the first few days of Sept. It is the largest open air flea market in the USA.
That sounds like a fantastic idea Kay. Also there is the weeklong Cherryblossom Festval in Macon, Ga. last of March or first of April.
