I purchased some from Smart Needle. She also has supplies to make the clips.

Smart Needle is the only place I have been able to find the colored 1 inch buttons also. Very nice site to deal with.

Have found the designs for hair clip covers plus other things I thank-you very much for all your help.
GG designs sells just the barebones hair clip cover for $3. Beyond that, I would recommend making your own decorations. I have spent far too much money on those little cutie designs and really there is nothing to them. They are really a little applique design. First hoop stabilizer and felt, run the outline stitch, stich design , then place another piece of felt below the hoop and restitch the outline stitch. This finishes the back side off. Lastly cut out the design. Backside goes against the head so if you dont care about finishing the backside you can stitch any old design onto a sandwich of felt/stabilizer/felt and then cut out with scissors and voila, same thing. If you want to replicate her designs, find a small applique like a heart, and follow steps above and you can put any initial or mini design you want on it. I have started a file where I organize all the mini designs I find. Feel free to ask questions is that is not clear.
is this what you are looking for. Have to log in.

Very easy to search on that site too for any designs/ideas etc.
I almost forgot these minis are free for a short time.
1. Post with links for you
2. 4 hearts for hair clips
Also look to your left and use the search engine to look for "minis" or "mini". a lot of them can be done on felt and glued to a clip.
I have, they are fun to make. I have a company with hairbows and I love to make them.
I have never made them, however I bought some designs for GG Designs and they were great. They have alot of felt hair clip covers.
