Thanks for asking as it is nice to read the answers and find out what to do for myself also.
Try using only one layer of the tear away. I have been using a backing called wash away/tear away. I do not use it for my FSL, but in projects like this. Then all I have to do is use a damp Qtip and wash it away. Clean edges then.
I used tear away/wash away also...I did not try getting it wet on the edges, I'll try that, just on the edges, thanks
Funny, sometimes the answers should be so obvious....took a wet washcloth and roughed it up on the edges....wa la...clean THANK YOU!!!
I read on here that when things show that are not suppose to use a kids marker & noone will see.It really works LOL Carolyn
I got over this problem by using something called "trick film". It's rather like water soluable film with one side smooth and the other slightly lumpy. One thickness has worked okay but by saving all the useful sized left overs I have used double thickness on heavier projects.
I've never heard of that. Do you have to wash the project when done or does it tear off clean?
Yes that is what I also use. Most of it tears off, or you can use heat onto it. (I use my hair dryer on hot.)
