I have seen cups in craft shops like JoAnns that have rings that screw off the top and they are made in a layer with a space between the outside of the cup and the inside of the cup. There is a space so you can put a piece of embroidery aida in between. The face of the cup is clear plastic so you can see the design..you then screw the top back on giving you a hand made cup..they are great for kids but I have made embroiderys for them too..http://christmas.howstuffworks.co...

Yes , Last year I Crazy patched fabric cut out the shape from the pattern in cup & embroidered names on them , Then inserted in cup. I found some cups at the craft store ( hobby Lobby ) and even found a good supply at the Dollar Tree . Everyone loved them . Flowers for both of you.

Anna, the cup is like a plastic mug, and has an inner and outer section, which can be taken apart and embroidery or similar can be inserted, then the two sections put back together again. You should be able to buy them at any craft suppliers. Hugs and flowers sweetie.
