Go to: perfectlittlestitches.com
Then go to project. Scroll down until you see the pair of sock. You can save the directions in pdf. form and save to a file.

I asked for, and got one of these for Christmas, but haven't used it yet. It comes with photo instructions. Didn't look too hard, but I guess I forgot about it...I'm going to see if I can find it now. There is also a tutorial on google on how to stretch socks over your hoop and claims that they will go back after washing, but I don't see how that would possibly work! I wouldn't even test that one.;)

anna, I have seen this before and bookmarked it for the future. Try cookiescreations.com Look under The Sock Easy. I don't know how it really works but it looks easy. Hope this might help. A flower for you.

Hi when I embroidered on socks I used my little 2" hoop but I only hooped the stick stabilizer and put sock on it without stretching

Anna, I've never embroidered on socks, but I'm guessing it would be the same as on any other knit/stretchy fabric. You would use an iron-on, cut-away stabiliser, making sure you *don't* stretch the fabric. I don't know what size hoops you have, I have a Janome which has a 50mm (2in) square hoop that is ideal for things such as this. With a larger hoop, you would need to be able to hoop only one layer of the sock, and keep the other layer well out of the way of the needle, either by using pins, pegs etc. If I'm wrong with any of this, someone please feel free to correct me, I'm thick skinned, haha, and like I said I've never actually done this myself. Hugs and flowers to you sweetie.

my smallest hoop is 100m square :-( I would think thats a bit too big for socks and since I've never embroidered on stretch fabric I guess I better not start with socks... need to gain more experience first. thanks for all advice. *4u
