Next time you should be more careful oops sorry no next time. Any way glad you are all safe. Hugs Lisa
Gosh Meg, please be on the alert - I hope it wasn't a Brown! They will strike out at you. Please be careful and keep those beautiful cats inside for a while at least to adjust. I can just imagine you jumping around on the balcony etc. I hope all is well now. Love and blessings Chris
You will be thrilled when you are settled in your new home - snakes and all.
Oh Meganne, I so enjoyed reading this. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure if they had it on video , it would be sent to home funniest video's . haha Hugs Yvonne
Oh Meganne, that would have been my worst nightmare. I can 'handle' a lot of situations, but not sure how I would 'handle' a snake or maybe it would handle me. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new place.
Oh, Meg - Yikes, I am out of breath just reading your post!! Just think, your kitty is one smart cat to come back to the door when she has only been there a short time! I bet you both sleep well tonight!!* Hugs, Laura (hmmmmm, the snake probably will too!)
Well Sis looks like you're going to have all sorts of visitors at the lodge...hopefully that sneaky ole snake will move further upstream and not be a threat to you babies. Take some Valium and just get your heart out of your mouth as I'm sure that's where it was when you saw that ole snake and your kitty was in danger. Glad you didn't fall and hurt yourself. Take care.
Love n Hugs,Sis
You can believe it would've been the last thing that snake ever did if he had hurt my baby!!!!
Hugs n love, SIS.
I heard you scream all the way here! My ears are still ringing! Believe me? :) Have a great week, and see if you can settle down a little OK? Wish I was there.
Oh my - what a tale - you should be a writer - as I have said before - oh my! *4U
Just had to share my story with you all, it would have been a hoot if someone had caught it on video!!!! HEHEHEHE!
Quick fix before the valium kicks in...grab a paper sack breathe in and out for awhile....whew...so glad the only snakes we have around me are the ones in the pet stores and the little garden snakes...which are more afraid of you than you are of them...
I have no idea how big this one was Deanna, I could only see about 6 foot of him, but I do know I was within striking range if he had decided to strike.
Luckily I was more worried about my cat and didn't really have time to think about what could have happened.... IEEEEE!
LOL!!!
Nope i dont belive you, I heard you screaming RAY , Mishka HELP and a few othr not so nice words here.... nearly 200k away :))
Meganne, take that valium NOW!!! your heart will be racing! I really do not like snakes and cats love to play with them...I know you would never panic...but take that valium now!!! Hugs Sally
Yeah right Sally, when it comes to my baby I become a snivelling, crumpled, heap!
You can bet the shoreline mess along our property is the very next job on the list, with great regret, as the birds and ducks like to nest there, but the safety of my 4 legged kids and especially my grand kids must come first.
But I'm ok now, truly.
If I had some garden tools I would be out there cleaning out the undergrowth right now.
Thanks for your concern.
Hugs n love, Meg
