Thank you, we did not go out for lunch, she is too weak. She had been in the hosiptal over the weekend and just got home on Mon. So I took her a home cooked meal. I hope she knows how much I love her. She is a very special Aunt. She is more like a GM to me. Her house has always been like a Bed & Breakfast for family & friends.I'm sure she has been a blessing to everyone that has ever met her. I'm going to have a hard time giving her up, but I know her quality of life is not very good. Thanks for letting me air my feelings, needed a shoulder to cry on this morning. Please say a prayer for us.
255054What a blessing that you stil have her and that you are going to be sitting with her and getting her to eat - alot of them stop eating - when it gets their time - so don't feel discouraged - try the shake with Ensure as Deanna suggested - if she will not eat - just talk with her and let her know she is LOVED. I will be praying for her and the family. *4U

Thank you, she has really been a blessing to me. I was even named after her. She is a widow of many years and very independent!!!! She has no children of her own but is loved by many. I had a good day with her. She is talking about going to a Nurseing Home, doesn't want to trouble anyone. She has been living alone up until now. Please keep us in your prayers.

Thanks, we did have a wonderful lunch together. She is such a joy to be with. She has some of the most interesting stories!
8647not very many people can resist a good milkshake...My GM did that... you can do yougurt shakes, or get some ensure and put it in instead of regular milk....Many prayers for you 2...loves deanna

Thank you, she did eat about half of her plate of lunch. She isn't drinking enough water either. I will see if we can get her to drink an Ensure shake, she does like ice cream
