Isn't it amazing how we feel better when we doing things for others. ;) Charla
Yes! It became an obsession. I went and bought Wool because I didn't have that colour to match the other. Now I have more wool than I need. Never mind Winter is not far away for us here in Australia.
I went on a crochet binge and ended up with irritated tendons in my arm. I had to give it a break. Now when I crochet I don't try to do a marathon. Glad your pain went away.
Good luck, Lyn, with the knitting. I recommend preparing your chair with a little table next to it, about three gently scented candles, a bowl of your favourite sweets, a little pot of tea (green is good), your best teacup and saucer, a plate of your favourite biscuits, a footstool, a magazine and your knitting. Live it up for a while!!!
That lot should keep you occupied for quite some time with a few naps here and there.
If it's a daytime outage, the day is just delightful and you have a shady tree, that's perfect for an English tea=break - transport the laden table outside.
Of course, migrating for those seven hours to a mall just to 'hang' would be an alternative.... :}
But there's something rather soul-healing about knitting Trauma Teddies, isn't there.

Hello Alma, Think I will wait till Thursday and see how my mood take me. Have a lot of hand sewing I can do.
I've had bursitis. It's no fun! I'm glad you found a fun cure for it! Good luck with the 7 hours without power. That doesn't sound like fun either!
