It seems that any applique or line stitch will work just trying to figure out how it could be done.

I think there are industrial embroidery machines that can do this. In my digitising program there is a stitch for dropping sequins. Hugs Yvonne

Could the original design have been intended for the embroidery machines that take the sequin strips? I have seen some cool videos of sequin strips being applied by embroidery machines. They come in these mondo rolls and go so fast.
If you are doing it by machine, unless you have some adaptive equipment, I would think that you would want to apply them by hand. Good luck.

I would think it would be like crystals, they get put on after the design is finished stitching....I would love to know where you found these designs as I love crystal designs.....Janet

Wrote a book on how to do this, but it was back in the days of free motion embroidery and quilting. Doubt it can be accomplished with computer generated designs. Have thought about it long and hard and haven't been able to devise a means to do it. A person has to take back control of the machine and then anything is possible.
