I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IKEA. I'm so jealous. I have to travel 4 hours to get to one. My brother and I drove to Atlanta to buy furniture for my daughter and myself right after I got married (because we had no furniture) and we spent less than $1000 and bought 1500 pounds of furniture. We couldn't have fit one more box in or on my truck! But we got 3 dressers for my daughter and 4 for my hubby and I, an entertainment center and a couple more things. Their furniture won't last forever, but it sure is newly married budget friendly and will last until your newly married budget expands enough to buy better stuff! Its been 4 years, we've moved 3 times and its all still in 1 piece! Sounds like you have quite the trip just to get there as well!!! Isn't it fun tho? My favorite is their picture frames! They light up their picture frames.... so cool!
It is the first time i have ever been. It will be a while before I get back so I had to stock up. I went for those glass lamps but found great deals on the kitchen towels and wash cloths. Just 49 cents each so I got 10 of each. Not the best quality but I can play around with them. It was a fun day!

You certainly had a successful day. Have fun with all of your new treasures. What are you going to do with the fabric?
The fabric is a red with white and green dots like dandylions. I 'm not sure what to do with it. I want to wash it first and then will decide. They had some nice fabric but it all had huge designs on it. The one I got was in the last chance bin so how could i resist. LOL

Oh you lucky duck! Sorry to hear you missed the light bulbs. Took us 5 hours to get to the Ikea in Pittsburgh and hubby rushed me so much I got virtually nothing! Have fun embroidering everything!
I did not have to rush but still did not see everything , did not even go upstairs. I'll get some bulbs here in town.It was a long day,6 hours spent just in the car. Now I'll rest up and think up some projects tomorrow.
