she saw the quilt and went right for it...so i grabbed her and shook my finger at her telling her "NO NO"....a few minutes later here she comes again in the room and goes straight towards it again...and again I repeated the warning....well about the third time she tried it I swatted her bottom (on the diaper) and told her "NO NO"...well she cried a little then went her merry way...later that night she came back in the room and went right to the edge of the quilt...She pointed her little finger right at it and plainly said "NO NO" and then left the room...I never laughed so hard at her expression and her menacing words of "NO NO" to that quilt....

Boy those little darlings will test you to the limit...they definitely no what "NO" means.

Funny! I keep my 15mo old grandson, Bo. He is the hardest working baby ever. He pushes chairs all over the house, uses his baby size broom, pushes the laundry basket from one end of the house to the other(fully loaded) and will even run around with a swiffer duster. I'm looking for him a job, but he doesn't meet any of the height requirements.

Our little ones are so sweet. You are right about them knowing what NO means and it doesn't take them long for it to sink into their little minds. I'm sure it was very hard for her not to tough the quilt. Thanks for sharing a sweet moment with us. Made me smile. Hugs, Judy

Dear Deanna,

That brought a smile to my face. I can just see her doing that. Cooper is the same age as your grand-daughter and he knows the meaning of the word NO! too. He just runs all over the place at the moment and you've really got to have your running shoes on. I'm not babysitting him this year as he is in daycare. He is just like his Dad our son Ben. He is just so cute though and you just got to smile at him. He loves a cuddle from his Nanna and Poppy and every Sunday Trevor, Ben and Cooper go for a walk around the lake. Cooper sits in his pram and Trevor and Ben walk, they go for breakfast after their walk and Cooper has toast and vegemite or eggs. When I see him I make a funny face by sucking in my cheeks and moving my lips like fish do and he just laughs his head off at me. I love it. Enjoy every moment you have her with you. Love Chris
