This was my first year to go, and i could kick myself for not going in previous years. I think there is going to be a quilt show in the fall. I'll keep area people posted.
Kay, I'm SEW jealous, my teeth hurt! I'm glad you had fun and saw new things. I was Ferociously sick, so I couldn't have gone at all. Maybe next year......;)
Not sure whether you are doing a play on words or whether you were reallysick. If the latter hope you are feeling better. Flowers will make you all better.
Hope you are better. I have to be so careful this time of year {pollen}. You know when the cars get yellow!!! Only a Georgia girl would know that.
By the way, how did you know my name is Kay? I must have used it somewhere. My daddy called me katydid when I was a little girl.
Quilting shows can be fun. I went to one in Baltimore, Md a while back. Beautiful quilts displayed from all over the world. And yes the quilting machines were fantastic. Wish I could afford one.
They also had a quilt display from a museum from Lowell, Mass. I don't quilt , but I would like to learn, especially after seeing all those fabulous devices.
I posted their site because there other cities where it will be held. I really had a blast. The ladies I went with are really into quilting. We looked at a lot of booths. There were vendors from all over the world. I saw $30,000.00 Gammill quilting machine that was unbelievable. While my friends ate lunch, I looked at embroidery booths,Marathon,Floriani,FamoreCultery.com,WWW.ThreadsandMore.com and many more.
