My Brother machine has no problem with Metro and I love the colors and the price can't be beat! Have fun picking more colors!
Has any one used the Metro thread on a Bernina 200? I find my machine really picky on some threads. Would love to find some cheaper thread to use but even at .67 it would not be a good price if I can't use it. Thanks to all the Cutie. I find this a really nice site. ♥
In SA I don't know the thread but I use Marathon in my Bernina 440 with no problem. I have switched to Colorfil (same numbers) as it's polyester with no problem Costs R1050 or about $1.50.
Thanks! I looked up the site. I will try it. It sure beats the Isacord and other prices. ♥
LOL!!! Sounds like your DH is like mine... enjoy it, and order away! :)
OMG, it's like crayons for adults... I am so excited to order... Thanks
I laughed when I read this, it is so what my hubby would say! I just read it to him, he laughed and said "ya, she ought to"!
Carol
by all means, do what he says. You should have recorded it so you could play it back when he begins to complain about you buying more.
A happy women makes a happy hubby,
mine is the same kind. That's why we love them right?
Hope you find your balance and have enough storing space.
regards sue
Metro sews fine on my Brother ULT but won't sew at all without a lot of thread breaks on my commercial machine. I wish it would because their prices are great.
Their bobbins are excellent and a great price for plastic side bobbins. I can't tell the difference in Metro bobbins and the plastic side bobbins from NEB.
I wish they would carry colored bobbins.

How fortunate for you. I think I would go get more as you have his permission, right?
I have never heard of Metro thread (my Joann's doesn't carry it). I would like to try it and see how well it works as I definitely like the price. Thanks for the tip, here's a flower for you.
i have never seen it in stores, The company is in El Paso Texas, i can get mine the next day.
Metro is the website. We were comparing the thread to what we get from Joann's.
My Hubby said the same thing when it happened to me too! It sure is great to be able to afford more thread and I find it works better too!
Good for you and smart hubby, too.
Were really lucky aren't we! We both have really special men in our lives!

Just saw they added the varigatted to the whole set but not sure if Im going to order those not sure how much I will use it. I also have some thread from Joann's only get it when its half price and then use my teacher discount.
I thought that to and then I stitched out this cute little flower for GD and I really like the differance. So I did get the varigatted thread too!

A lot of it depends on how the design is layed out. But still alot of fun to watch stich out.
That is just the sort of thing my husband would say!!!
I ordered the whole set from there when I got started with embroidering. I havent had any trouble at all with there thread.
I wished that I had known about Metro! I have spent so much money at Joann's for thread! I still do love Joann's but I will only but Metro thread in the future!!!
Thanks Dawn
YAY Dawn-don't even stop to think about it-go for it!!! I don't think I ever really checked out their site before-guess I should-although, I really shouldn't get any more thread...... ahhhh, what's the harm in looking, right? ~linda~
Sounds great. Could you post a link for that site?
I LOVE THEIR THREAD....Aren't all the colors beautiful too. Its funny how a box of thread is so exciting...Order extra white if you can
you may never go back to Joanns for thread, even at 40% off with a coupon . Now listen to hubby and order more!

I am off to the site! That is if I can get off Cute which is really hard to do!
