had some towels she wanted embroidered for her new granddaughter, but she needed to wash them first. I told her to wait until the embroidery was done, that way she could wash the solvy off at the same time. So she brought the towels. she had them in her cupboard for ages, and one of them had a big dust mark on it, they are white so it looked real bad. So when he went to bed I read siencewidows answer and went and put my dress back in the washing machine, with dry bleach and detergent. Well like a blood hound but with ears instead of nose in tune, my DH comes marching down the stairs and says. "you couldn't help yourself could you? you had to wash those towels". I had to show him the post where I had asked for advice about my ruined dress. So he has gone off to be again quite satisfied.
