Please can we all resolve get into the habit of checking our PM tab when we log in? I've sent a few PMs this week and not had replies and I know I am sometimes guilty of forgetting to check .

To answer to shop (Shar)... and others how do not know.
At the top of the community page where you ask and answer these questions you will see several tabs. Public is the top one, then you will see freebies, personal and private. Click the private tab if you see a +1 or higher number next to the word private on the tab. That is where you will find your PM (Private Messages). I hope this helps.

What is a PM and how do we check it. I think there is something to learn everytime I turn this site on!!!

At the top of the community page there are 4 tabs. Public, Freebies, Pertsonal and Private. Private is where your PMs are!

Dumb me. I don't see the 4 tabs. I see Freebies and that is all. Anyone else having this problem?

Do you see 4 tabs? Freebies is in orange the others are in gray. They are still clickable.

They did indeed.

I've just checked my messages and found two which had been sent as "add comment" rather than "reply". Please remember, everybody that these won't show as +1 on the PM tab. (They are only flagged up if you use "reply") I only found these two by accident - they could well have been missed completely.

Yes, that is a very good thing - to have others check it - I have 27 unanswered PM's.

Sue I sent one back to you day before yesterday. I didn't know about the Private messages, but I check mine as much as I can. I am on Yahoo messenger too

If you click "add comment" it doesn't come up to the top of the PM list or show as +1 on the tab. It just stays invisible unless you know to check. Your message was on the third page of my PM list. No way would I have found that by accident! You need to click "reply" instead.
