left them both in the loft!! Finally got the coon to run off with some encouragement with a 2x4 (no,he did not hit it) & I returned to "help." Hee hee! Doesn't take much to entertain us, I guess!!

I know is funny now, but I am sure that was not too funny then. I am glad didn't bite. I love to see them in pictures but not face to face.

That is so funny. We have a lot of coons but none of them have taken us by surprise. They can get rather large. I was chased by a Blue Racer snake one time and I thought was going to have a heart attack. It chased me up our deck steps and I finally got into the house. It fans out like a Cobra snake. Thank goodness they are not poison. The farmers said if I would have chased it, it would have left. Duh, I never dreamed of chasing a snake, running away is what I had in mind. Lots of laughs now, but not then. I hate snakes. Hugs, Judy

Now a snake..I would have gone a lot farther away than just outside the barn! Those raccoons last year ate our little bluebirds right out of the nest! Pulled the nest out of the box & tore it all up. Yet, can't stand to kill any of them. Trying to find ways to keep them away from the bird boxes on the poles.

He didn't seem in too big a hurry to leave! Had to smack the board on the floor to get him moving!
