The buttons are great, but just how do you use them? It doesn't seem that they weould be stiff enough to hold something, say a shirt, closed.

weistling, WELCOME to the CUTE family - you can leave a lot of the stabilizer in the lace buttons and they are pretty stiff - if they are not stiff enough - stitch them on something else - to make them stiffer.

They do great as decoration. I have also put one on a decorated needle case eith a loop to keep the case closed. Charla
