Bev, it looks like you got some good advice and also side tracked - so maybe we will see - what your next project really is - Hehehe!
It just depends on what day it is. But i've always got something brewing.

Bev, are you making something like Loralye did in PROJECTS. Here is the link http://projects.cuteembroidery.co...
I am not sure whether she has used interfacing. I'd use whatever I had at home. If you have some iron on vilene that would work just as well. Love Chris
P.S. I reckon that sweatshirt fabric is thick enough on its own anyway.
Right, mine will be sort of patchwork. It is a pretty thick shirt that i have had forever, time to spruce it up. If it doesn't turn out I can always make potholders. LOL
Bev
Bev, if this is for placement of your fabric, why not use basting spray so your fabric will adhere without any thickness from the interfacing? Just a thought. Hugs, Terre
Good idea, Thanks Terre.I'll come up with something tomorrow. I have a huge roll of wonder under. The lady at Hancock asked me if it was ok if she gave me a piece of the roll she couldnt sell because it was wrinkled. I was shocked at what she gave me. Havent bought any in over a year. Must of been in the right place at the right time.

Perhaps use iron on stablizer, but probably not necessary. dont forget to put up in projects Hugs Sally
I've made several, and the only reason I used interfacing was because I added buttons and needed more stability. If you're not using button, don't worry about it. Installing zippers don't require interfacing either. Good luck!
I didn't use it when I did mine. I stitched in cotton tape along the front where I cut (to stop the stretch), and used prestuds (domes) up the front. I guess you could use a strip of fabric instead though.
I didn't think it was absolutely necessary but was just wondering what others recommend. Right now i got side tracked and am playing around with another project. So Many projects and not enough time. LOL
