This is a great idea. I have done some welding in the past and it gets pretty darn hot under the helmet, I just used a bandana, but this is much better. Nice job!!
Thank you blessinge. I cut 3 more out last nite while at my quilt group (I know it's not a quilt, but). I sold another the other day :) *4U
My husband sold the flames one now at work the other day for another $25 and guys are startin to ask if I'd make them if they bought the fabs themself. DH said same price :D
Great job - it sounds like your DH has the right attitude - what are they all going to do? *4U
how neat - my hubby is a jazz organist who rides a harley so i made him several skull caps with musical themed fabric, then my son had to have some so skulls for him and then our friend had to have some and then his wife and on and on, I love it! Cheers to you and keep up the good work
Thank you. I have some "bike" fabric from Wal-Mart. Will be one of the next ones. *4U
That is really SUPER an idea! Men had to carry a large problem if it the protective helmet for a long time! The scalp gets no air, sweats, and it wars with the time a bald head! that is not a joke!!! Thus who is to protect it if not we women?!? CONGRATULATION! Flowers for it
Thank you. Helps when he picks out the faabrics too, then I know he likes them. *4U
This a unique, my husband wears a wrap around his - not sure what they call it - but these would be very handy to have. Great idea. *4U
Thank you. Is his kinda like a bandana that ties at the back? This one DH ears with the beak at the back when he has his helmet on and then beak at the front all other times. *4U
That's wonderful. He must be very proud of you work and hobby. And they are so useful.
Very clever, and now you may start a new thing at work for the welders.
YES!!! He did actually sell that one pink Easter egg one at work today for $25 and stated that the guys there are really getting interested at all the dif hats he wears all the time. One fellow requested "Don Cherry" fabric. Never saw it (don't really care for cherry either, sorry). My husband would like one with Homer Simpson on (don't like Simpsons either, what can I say). The wilder, the better with those guys :D
Is this your own pattern? If not where can I find it? They look great!
TY :) It is my own pattern.... well, sort of.. One of his old ones was falling apart (litterally) so I made up pattern pieces from it.
Thank you for taking time to aswer my question. I taken things apart for the pattern in the past. I guess that's what I will do.
Very clever and could possibly be a money maker for you too. Keep up the good work. I also like your hubby's choice of fabrics. A flower for 4. Happy Easter!
