I can't find any wash-away in my stash so I am going to have to go and buy some. This could get dangerous. I might come home with the new Brother PR1000 that I know my dealer has in the shop.

Wow! I watched the video. It is an incredible machine. I can see why it is the ONE you want! Will they be able to give you a discount on the price? I loved how the led lights gave you the color you need.... tooo amazing.

You can always get a discount in the shop on anything, all you have to do is ask.

.... :} Hi Alice..... well, if you get the PR1000 we'll expect wonderful things from you.

Takes me all my time to drive one needle, let alone ten. I saw the Babylock 10-needle machine in America and decided they are for the young and the brave. I was taken with the size of the hoop, though.

I guess that depends on what you mean by young. The pr620 that I have is a dream to use, so much easier than a single needle machine.

I have had my eye on it for a while, they have not long arrived in Australia. I will be receiving some money in the next couple of weeks and I will be buying it then, but I have to chose my timing a bit carefully. My husband is hot and cold about me getting it. Even though is is technically my money, we have everything in joint accounts and make joint decisions, so he must be on board with the decision. Which is what I meant about always getting what I want. I just plan it an time it right.

I would love to see pics of your new machine.
I come home from the dealers with pamphlets of machines that I am interested in and drool over them.
Yours is too grand for my budget.
Happy stitching!

What is the difference between early and mid March? You sound like me. I am NOT looking at the PR1000 so I cannot be tempted.
Have you asked your dealer what if he would do a part exchange for a upgrade?

Which machine is that one? I've been drooling over the Quatro for at least two years nowi The price is still way too high though. I like all the lights. I can't seem to get enough light these days. I have the 2003d, and I love it except I'd just as soon not have all the Disney designs taking up memory on it. I would like the largest hoop though. What do you use now?

I have a pr620 which is a 6 needle the pr1000 is a 10 needle with the camera technology that the quatro has. it is really awesome.

Oh Alice, you make me smile! I wish I would be in a position at any point to buy a machine like that. I realize it is partly business for you and only a hobby that is money going out and none at all coming in but I so dream of a machine with a huge hoop!

I didn't buy it I was just being silly. and big hoops are not all they are cracked up to be. More chance of registration problems.

Debra I agree. I have one needle and have to change thread at every colour change.

Alice, I have been browsing all day drooling over
commercial embroidery machines. The Brother PR1000 will be my first choice, but I have watched the ones for sale on ebay a greater part of the day. I had to slap my hand a time or two, so I would not bid on something I would be sorry for later!! LOL
I better go shopping for stabilizer and stay offline!! Hurrah for YOU!!

Angel I have the pr620 and I love it. I am sort of hoping I will be able to keep both machines when I get the new one, but money does not grow on trees so I may have to sell it. I really don't know how I will do that, it may have to go on ebay but people don't seem to trust sellers on ebay. Anyway I will have to wait and see what happens, if business keeps picking up I might manage to keep both.If you do decide to buy something on ebay make sure you can check it out and see it working first. "Caveat emptor" buyer beware.

Alice, Be very careful! Perhaps wear blinkers straight in the shop ask for what you want and straight out....you have been warned! Keep to your game plan! Hugs Sally

Game plan is still in effect. but I told the show room manager to keep a towel under the machine to wipe of my drool every time I come in. hehehe.

Don't take your checkbook, credit card. Go in with just enough cash to buy your wash away. That is what I would do. Yeah right!

fortunately my credit card limit is not quite enough for the new machine and the only way I could realistic do it is if I transferred funds from another account, here is the fail safe, I don't have the internet access details to that account,so DH would have to do it and that puts to many steps in the process for me to make an impulse buy of almost $17,000. So I will be very good and buy the machine mid March as I had planned.

bevintex by bevintex 02 Mar 2011

Mid March right around the corner. I hope you get what you want sooner than later
Bev

fannyfurkin by fannyfurkin 02 Mar 2011

I always get what a I want. The trick is only want what you can have. Or if you really want it put a plan in place as to how you can achieve it (legally of course, hehehe).

bevintex by bevintex 02 Mar 2011

Good plan, I like the way you think.

fannyfurkin by fannyfurkin 02 Mar 2011

It has a flaw, sometimes you don't really want what you think you want. Like a Nursing manager position in an insanely busy hospital for example. I thought I wanted that, then I got it and I now realize that I really didn't want it.

bevintex by bevintex 02 Mar 2011

I think that is called life, we live and learn. Be careful what you wish for because you may get it!

katrinasheffield by katrinasheffield 03 Mar 2011

How bout this..... I start buying your 620 from you now.... so when I get it paid off you can I have a 620 and you have a down payment and a good start on yours!!!

fannyfurkin by fannyfurkin 03 Mar 2011

Where do you live?
