Never thought of embroidering on wood. I would be too scared to wreck my machine. Now I have to watch the video. Thanks for sharing.
Watch the free video tutorial from emblibrary. Almost anything you can imagine to embroider on they have instructions for.
Something new to catch my attention lol A great work and I just saw the url for the info, good job do any tiny splinters fly, just joking.
Great Job

I've never tried, and now it will take a while before I can
but this looks good
This is beautiful joanie, well done. Hugs and a flower sweetie.
Where did you find balso wood like that? This is really neat, and would do great as a picture, don't you think?
Thank you, yes it would. I finally found this balsa at Michaels, a huge craft store her in Canada...Alberta, anyhow. it was a piece 1/16" x 4" x 36". It cost $4.29.
joanie SEW pretty. What thickness of Balsa wood do you use. I just never thougnt of doing this. Will have to try. Thank You, A flower for you.
I used 1/16". That was the smallest Michaels had. I heard of it couple/few years ago and wanted to try it then, but never saw the balsa that thin. * back at ya
after seeing this I want to try balsa wood. How do you keep it in the hoop
I didn't have craft adhesive spray, which I would have preferred, so I just used a craft glue stick to stick the balsa on the tear away stabelizer that goes thru the hoop...the balsa being a bit smaller than the hoop of course. The balsa I used is 1/16" Try it out, it's sew kewl. *4U
joanie, WOW have you found the right design here - I love this and really think that when you get your box finished you will need to post this again. Thank you for sharing this - I am going to have to find some of this balsa wood. Thank you so much - I love it. *4U
Thank you. It was originally a red rose with green and yellow leaves, but I love purple :D. *4U
