Sound to me like you know what your doing! I have done this alot & it seems to be just fine! I don't put anything in the dryer though as it will crack the design!Plus I heat set it on the backside of fabric!
Yes but only A4 or smaller. You can buy special sheets which you adhere the fabric to & then print just as normal. The sheets can be reused a few times. Bubble Jet set 2000 is used on the fabric first.Soak cut fabric in Bubble Jet solution first ,dry (line dry ) ,iron & then adhere to special sheets, print.
I have used this method for photo album covers & on back of a quilt .I have not washed these items but according to the people would did the demos they were washable
Our printer shop will print any pic that you want on fabric (they are cheeper than what I would pay for the colour ink cartrige)
You supply your own fabric.
Iron the print to set the ink.

Yes it worked well for me, but with limited washing. Once I made a little wall-hanging with a lovely family photo and another time a quilt label. Both things will not get washed very often. I used special ink jet printable fabric with a plastic 'carrier' which peels off afterwards.
I have printed directly onto fabric before for quilt labels and have never had a problem with fading. I have also used the printable fabric with good results. I use whatever I have at the time.

Perhaps you need to wash the fabric first to remove any finishes that are in the fabric. Sorry I cant be more specific its ages since I have done this
I went to Michael's and got printable farbic. It goes in the printer and then you peel the back off. Then you have your fabric. DeVon
