I also have an Innovis 2800D. You can resize the design a little with your machine in the edit mode, but it will only let you resize a little.
1. Turn on sewing machine
2. Hit on top rt of selections the embroidery edit icon
3. place flash drive in machine
4. hit the icon on machine to input files from your flash drive
5. now in the edit mode you hit resize image. (it will let you resize a little but you should get software such as PE Design to do more editing of images.
