MY husband has done many things for me over the years. He has surprised me with a flower garden for my birthday and a lamp for my sewing room and years ago he built me a gazebo. I still miss that gazebo. There have been many things some small some large, but he is the best gift of all.

My hubby looks up websites he hears about but doesn't even know how to find his own email so, no, he doesn't surprise me with things like that. To give you an idea, he will get me a birthday (or whatever holiday) card and put it in the envelope unsigned and hand it to me. Warms the cockles of my heart, not! I generally get what I want, within reason as we are on a fixed income, just by saying that I want it. I was wanting an embroidery machine for a few months when we finally went and got me the lowest end machine Walmart had.

He sounds like mine used to be. He used to decorate his house plants for Christmas. No tree, but he would hang a couple of ornaments on his plants. It really is the thought that counts, though. At least you know he loves you :-)

I'll bet your Embroidery machine sews lots of great designs too! Your DH sounds like he really loves you and spoils you with giving you the things you want. Sometimes I feel guilty with how my DH spoils me, making sure I get the extras and he doesn't. What sweet husbands we have! That must be why we love them soooo much!

Mine is very sweet. He would buy me the world if I wanted it. I have a lot of toys and a beautiful house to put them in. I couldn't have gotten any of this without him. He is a giving man. :-)

I have one of those kind of husbands..about 5 years ago he surprised me with a silver Corvette.. 3 years ago he surprised me with a 4-horse goose neck horse trailer with full living quarters, stove, frig, micro, shower, potty etc. ( big enough to accommodate me and all my 4-H kids) and a 1 ton 4 door Ford to pull it with.. then took me to Maui for the 3rd time... then to FL for Christmas of 2010 for the birth of our Grand son..then in Jan of this year he surprised me with 2 tickets to a stage production of The Diary of Anne Frank.. and most recent.. he took me to Joann Fabrics and gave me a $200.00 gift card and told me to "have fun" !! We have been married for 35 years!! HE IS THE BEST!
I LOVE him so much!
Jo

My hubby is fascinated by my machine. He is the one that talked me into trading my MC9500 in for the MC11000SE. He has even helped me line up and hoop things before. And colors, he is really good at picking out colors to use. I usually take him with me shopping for fabric! When I mentioned the metro thread to him, he said order it. So, we all know I did! Carol

DeVon, you do have a rare husband - but as long as the two of you are happy - that is what matters. I wouldn't think that mine would know where to buy anything for me - but he does love my work and can talk embroidery with the best of them - I don't think he could get the stabilizer in the hoop - but I do think he could manage most of the work - if he had a mind to do it. I do think your husband wants to please you. Tell him for me - Keep It UP!

Wow, DeVon, You have a real JEWEL there! I think he is a KEEPER! My husband is a sweetie too. Yesterday when I was complaining about no green, just snow, he told me I should buy some green designs and stitch them! So I did! Do you think they just like for us to be happy???

Yes I think so. You could mix up green food coloring and water and put in spray bottle and spary the snow green for him??

Last summer when I was trying to sew some blue columbine flowers I sent him out with blue thread to find the right color and he did it! I couldn't believe it, but there he was holding up thread to the flowers! He didn't even seem to mind!!!
