After I saw Lyn's cute little pincushions that were hats, I thought I would share these with you. These belonged to my grandmother, and my mother had them for years. These are very old, and yellowed, but I left them as my mother had them. The pins and needles in them I am assuming were from my grandmother's sewing. I keep this is a display case in my sewing room.

I love these. I have something that is stitched similarly, but it holds a thimble in the hat crown and has a piece of felt tacked between for needles. I think it was my great-grandmother's.

These are lovely little treasures. Unfortuneatley I didn't know either of my grand mother's. I do crochet but haven't seen anything like these. Does anyone know of a pattern perhaps?

Aren't these beautiful. Wish I had a Grandma still here. They had so many ideas. Wouldn't have thought there would have been variegated cottons back in those days. Love These!

Thank you - my grandmother died when I was only about 3, so really never got to do much with her - but just remember her some.
