Your bobbin tension may be too loose or top tension too tight, try loosening your top tension first, if that doesn't help bobbin tension may need adjusted. I had that problem before Christmas and was lucky enough to find a guy who came to my house and charged $30.
i think that some colors sew differently that the others, regardless of the brand. i tossed a spool of dark green yesterday that was absolutley terrible, the other threads in that brand are ok.

Are you also changing the bobbin thread for each colour change,if so check that you are putting the bobbin thread nicely in the bobbin spring.
If it the same bobbin for all colour changes it must be the top thread coming off the spool tighter.Check if it unspools evenly.
I sometimes use the spool stand so that it will unwind more evenly.
